Cyrus Batheja

Cyrus supports the development and execution of Medicare and Medicaid programs aimed at helping individuals and families access essential social services that are the gateway to better health. His work is centered on achieving health system improvement through the design and execution of patient-centric systems at scale. Batheja earned an associate degree in nursing from Normandale College, bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Augsburg University, and a doctorate in education from the University of St. Thomas.

Batheja sits on the University of Minnesota’s School of Nursing Dean’s Board of Visitors. He also serves on the Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute’s Public Research Advisory Board. He has received the 2019 UnitedHealth Group Sage of Clinical Service Award, the Mpls/St. Paul Magazine 2013 Award in Administrative Nursing Leadership, and is a 2012 March of Dimes Nurse of the Year.

Adrian Fenty

Former Mayor of Washington D.C.

Adrian served as the fifth Mayor of the District of Columbia from 2007 to 2011, where he championed innovative solutions to challenges facing the Nation’s Capital. A visionary with an intent focus on reform, he became a recognized national leader in the areas of urban education reform, public safety, public housing, city revitalization, healthcare and increasing tourism.

Adrian is the founding managing partner at MaC Venture Capital. Prior to MaC, Adrian was co-founder and Managing Partner at M. Ventures and Special Advisor to Andreessen Horowitz. He began his tech career as a consultant to Rosetta Stone, EverFi and several software startups. He has also worked at Klores and Associates and Perkins Coie law firms.

Justin Ley

Founder & CEO, Reema Health

Justin began his career in the healthcare industry as a product manager, designer and ultimately Entrepreneur in Residence at UnitedHealth Group, one of the largest health plans in the United States. Since then, he has been embedded in Minneapolis’ thriving health technology startup community as both a founder and a key leader.

As Vice President of Product Development for Revel (now Icario), a behavioral science-based digital health company, Justin helped craft and implement a strategy that grew the organization exponentially in its first five years, eventually becoming the leader within its niche.

In 2019 Justin founded Reema Health, a Minneapolis health technology firm. Reema’s breakthrough health platform uses proprietary technology and predictive data modeling to identify health plan members with the highest level of unmet social needs and connect them with Community Guides within their own neighborhoods.

As CEO, Justin is responsible for the strategic direction of the organization and spearheads its relationships with clients and investors. Justin holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas – Opus College of Business and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government.

Kendra has diverse experiences in health care, gerontology, and long-term care. Kendra has a Master’s in Administration of Aging Organizations and Gerontology and for the past 15 years has worked in various capacities in the community and with older adults promoting health and wellness.
