Lena Perelman

With 20 years of experience in the health plan industry, Lena is accountable for leading the product innovation and design cycle to create and deliver high-quality Medicare Advantage products.

In this role, she is responsible for developing and submitting yearly beneficiary plan benefits and leading strategic enterprise-wide market expansion efforts. Lena oversees strategic and tactical implementations, regulatory adherence and product management.

Lena’s experience in the Medicare marketplace includes government-run programs, state and county Medi-Cal operations and community outreach. Her career has spanned positions at large provider practices and several health plans.

Lena earned a B.S in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as an M.S. in Gerontology and an M.A in Public Administration from the University of Southern California

Catherine Macpherson, MS, RDN

Catherine joined Mom’s Meals in 2017. She is responsible for ensuring the company’s nutrition solutions meet the needs of its partners by designing clinical programs that meet their strategic objectives.

Previously, Catherine was Vice President of Medication Adherence and Immunizations at Walgreens, led Healthcare Product Strategy at WebMD, and managed health and wellness programs for Ceridian, the National Institute of Health and the American Institute for Cancer Research.

Catherine is a Registered Dietitian, a healthcare innovator, and a frequent speaker on the importance of nutrition to the aging population, care transitions and those managing chronic conditions.

She earned her Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota and her BA from the University of Michigan.

Robert Schreiber, MD, AGSF

Robert focuses on creating and developing a Social Movement to allow older adults to live their best possible lives.  He has over 37 years of experience and expertise in geriatric medicine and coordinated care with specialties in prevention and wellness strategies for older frail adults, palliative care, transitions of care, and connecting community-based organizations with health care providers.

Before myPlace Health, Robert served as Vice President and Medical Director of Summit ElderCare at Fallon Health, with responsibility for supervising the medical care delivery of the 1,220 participants enrolled in the organization’s six PACE locations in Massachusetts—known as Summit ElderCare™ — and its Fallon Health Weinberg-PACE in New York.

Before Fallon, Robert was Medical Director of the Healthy Living Center of Excellence at Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley in Lawrence, MA, as well as Medical Director of Hebrew SeniorLife and Kendall Corporation’s Vitalize 360 Program. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Medical Officer and Physician-in-Chief of Hebrew SeniorLife in Roslindale, Massachusetts. He has served as a clinical instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston for 21 years and as a Senior Leader for the Practice Change Leaders Program.

Robert earned his BA in Biology and Psychology from Dartmouth College and his MD from the Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed both an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Danbury Hospital. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a Certified Medical Director through the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.

Erika Pabo, MD, MBA

Erika is a visionary and highly strategic executive leader and entrepreneur with deep experience building, operating, and transforming businesses across the value-based healthcare ecosystem. This experience ranges across the business development life cycle – from building zero to one to transforming enterprise-scaled businesses – all focused on delivering quadruple-aim outcomes.

Erika serves as Chief Transformation Officer and Operations Leader for Humana’s Primary Care Organization. This $4.3B revenue payor-agnostic care delivery business operates in the market as Centerwell, Conviva and Elite. In this role, she wears two primary hats: 1) Operations: responsible for the core operations of the business, including medical risk adjustment, quality, revenue cycle management, patient service center, transportation, credentialing, training, associate experience and government affairs and 2) Transformation: trend management, process improvement, customer experience and innovation to ensure that the business continues to improve its operating leverage as it grows rapidly, as well as innovate as consumer needs to evolve.

Erika previously served Co-President for the Author business segment, a dual transformation company incubated and operated as a business segment within Humana. In her Co-President role, she serves as the external leader of the enterprise, overseeing business and growth strategy, product, marketing and communications, consumer experience, provider experience, and organizational effectiveness and has joint P&L responsibility for the business. She also continued to serve as Chief Health Officer for Author, which she has been since the entity’s founding, where she designed, built and operated a transformed experience for seniors, enabling deeper, more trusting customer relationships, supporting their whole health needs and using new tools and technology to eliminate both barriers to care as well as back-office inefficiencies. Parts of this business have now been integrated into the larger company to serve as the core for modernizing Humana’s Medicare and Medicaid businesses. Other parts have been spun out into a new joint venture.

She continues to serve as Faculty at Harvard Medical School and Associate Faculty at Ariadne Labs and to practice medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital Advanced Primary Care, South Huntington. She is a sought-after speaker, talking regularly at national healthcare conferences on wide-ranging topics in value-based care and business transformation.
