Rachel Winokur is the co-founder and CEO of TailorCare, a risk-based care navigation and health management company that provides deeply personal, data-driven support and clinical access to patients living with joint, back, and muscle pain.
Prior to founding TailorCare, Rachel launched Bright Health Group, a value-based healthcare company committed to managing population risk. She served as Chief Business Officer of Bright before serving as the CEO of NeueHealth, the risk-based primary care delivery, provider enablement, and network management company she created within Bright. Rachel built her career in executive and leadership roles at Aetna, where she helped start the health plan’s population health management division, The Carlyle Group, as a healthcare investor, and at Datascope, a public medical device company she helped take private. Rachel has previously held positions at Bertelsmann and Goldman Sachs.
Rachel currently sits on the boards of Maven, Eleanor Health, ERC/Pathlight, and TailorCare, and is an advisor to Declaration Partners, Primetime Partners, and Valtruis. She holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with honors in both biomedical and electrical engineering from Duke University, where she was a National Science Foundation Fellow.

Dr. Alex Ding is the Associate Vice President for Physician Strategy and Medical Affairs at Humana. He leads a team focused on physician engagement and empowerment, clinician experience; advancement of value-based care; and executing on enterprise-level clinical culture.
He is a board-certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist, and remains a practicing physician, teaching and providing clinical care as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Louisville.
He was previously managing partner at California Advanced Imaging, and the Chief of Radiology and Medical Director of Imaging at Sutter Health on the San Francisco Peninsula.
He is an elected Board member of the American Medical Association, and recently served as the Chair of the AMA’s Council on Science and Public Health, during the height of the COVID pandemic. He previously held a gubernatorial appointment on California’s healthcare workforce commission, and has been an adviser to multiple health technology companies including Google, Eko, and Doximity, in addition to health venture funds.
Alex holds a BA in Economics and MS in Public Health from the University of California Berkeley, an MBA in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MD from the University of California San Francisco. He completed his residency and fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and is a US Navy veteran.

Nick Lefeber joined BCBSRI in May 2022 as senior vice president of value-based care. In his role, Lefeber is responsible for value-based care, population health strategy, data and analytics, and contracting. Lefeber came to BCBSRI from DaVita Integrated Kidney Care, where he served as vice president of commercial value-based care. In eight years with DaVita, Lefeber led commercial value-based contracts strategy, operations, and analytics and designed new provider partnership models. Prior to DaVita, Lefeber worked in business development for Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare, in the US and the UK. He earned his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College. He lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts, with his wife and three young children.
